I have one of these and had to have a longer beaver tail installed, the original bit me every time I fired the gun. It’s great now, doesn’t bite anymore and is a real tack driver. GLWS
Hi,
Are you interested in any trades? I have a S&W model 64 and a model 65, both with 4” barrels. Both in excellent condition and I would trade you both of them for your Colt Govt model. Thanks
Hi, I have an Astra A-80 in .38 Super with three magazines in like new condition. It’s a tack driver and has never failed to perform yet. I acquired a Colt 1911 in .38 Super and like it better. I’m also a big Beretta fan and would love to have an APX. If you want to trade I’m willing.
Yup, here I am. First real revolver I ever had in my hand was an old Colt O.P. 6” .38 that was assigned to me in 1969 when I was a recruit in the Maryland State Police Academy. When MSP change from the 6” Colts to S&W model 13, .357 with a 4”” barrel. I bought my old Colt for $48.00 from MSP and...
This is my wife’s target at 15 yards, first time shooting her Valentine Day present, Colt 2” Detective Special. She says she really likes the little gun. Not too shabby for a 74 yr. old lady. Yeah, I love her and know how lucky I am
My wife loves to shoot but has trouble rack the slide on any of my semi auto pistols. Last year i bought her a Colt Detective Special 2” and she loves the gun. She shoots the hell out of it. Folks at the range are always impressed when they see her groupings.
I bought this Browning BDA-380 from a GCGF member 12 or so years ago. I found a Kydex IWB cross draw holster and it’s now my favorite gun. Whether I have on a t-shirt or casual business attire it conceals extremely well and is a joy to shoot. I don’t remember the member’s name that I got it from...
No sir, not at all a Straw Purchase. I offered to pay via PayPal. The gun could’ve been shipped to my local FFL at my expense but you didn’t want to hear any of that. Whatever makes you feel good and justify your actions. Good luck my friend.
I’ve been a member of this Forum for 8 years and a member of PFF for several years before that. I’ve bought and sold fishing gear on PFF and bought several handguns and rifles from members of this Forum. Those that know me know that I am a retired FHP Trooper that lived in Holley By The Sea...
Colt Python, 6” barrel, blue finish. Sold it to my zone partner for $200.00. I was carrying a 4” Python, blue finish and thought why keep both. Yeah, I’m kicking myself now
