so if it is not getting in the way keep it
do you think this is too much brass? yes the barrels are full
1 is 9mm the other is 30-06
I wet tumble and leave them in to clean the brass
size and lube which removes the primers
then tumble again to remove the lube and clean the primer pockets
it depends on how buggered up it is if not bad try running a die or bolt up from the bottom using plenty of oil to reform the threads
this is guessing that it is buggered up at the top
or you can helicoil it requires drilling and tapping
have a machinist drill and tap all the holes for Hornadays...

i have 10mm brass with both and would like to convert them all to large pistol primers

I think that you are comparing carbide to steel die pricing carbide is a lot more $$$ and is mainly
for commercial use, Dillon also sells steel dies for those calibers for a lot less
some bad information up above, even with carbide dies for bottle neck cases you will need to lube the cases so...
