      Looking for direction

That's going to be a steep hill to climb... you're going to exhaust funds trying to get somewhere with this only to possibly end up worse off financially and mentally. Any specifics as to the claim the above action was "illegal" that you can share for context? Forged signatures etc, ? Just be...

      Looking for direction

I see this all the time in my work as a Deputy. Most likely those were personally owned as back in the day it was the norm for officers to purchase their own duty pistol. There probably isn't any record at the old agency as record retention on things like that is generally two years, agencies...

      Just getting started

Welcome, nice to see people from central FL... I'm over towards Lake/Sumter.

30 years ago, the Clinton AWB was signed and enacted into law. 20 years ago, it expired.

Yep... AR15 rifles were hard sells as was FMJ ammo... you couldn't hardly give FMJ ammo away in the mid 80's. Firearms and shooting has really exploded in the past twenty years.

      Ruger did it. 10mm...

      LOL...

      Ruger did it. 10mm...

I forgot to mention there’s a reason pistol caliber car beans have fallen out of favor with law-enforcement.

      Ruger did it. 10mm...

If I’m going to carry the weight and bulk, I want some some juice for the effort.

      Ruger did it. 10mm...

Easy pass for me, these PCC’s really don’t do anything considering the size vs. firepower.

      Finally getting in to crossbows….

Watch your fingers… even experienced guys forget, buddy almost lost some fingers on his support hand. I thought about getting into it this year but time slipped up on me. Inconsistent reviews on budget crossbows has also slowed me down.

What gun stuff did you do today?

The deer were shot just before legal quitting time, by the time I got down from my stand, made my way to my son’s stand, gathered the deer, set up for pics, it was in fact dark.

You Got Cats, let's make a Cat House

Very cool... at times I wish I had developed the interests I have now in my younger years. I look back and would have loved to had gotten into metal working, cutting, etc. When you have the right tools, the right understanding, and most of all... the interest and passion, doing custom stuff...

Alternate Calibers: 6mm ARC vs 6.5 Grendel vs 6.8 SPC

With that in mind I’d highly recommend the 6mm ARC now that ammo is easily obtained. An 18” barrel with rifle length gas is what I’d go with for a balance between efficient powder burn and length/weight.

Alternate Calibers: 6mm ARC vs 6.5 Grendel vs 6.8 SPC

Kind of apples to oranges, obviously those cartridges have a little more juice.

      Closet biden supporters

What policies does Trump have/support that you disagree with? Or is he not "a perfect candidate" because of his personality? Not directed at you... But... a lot of folks won't vote for Trump simply because of his personality. That's pretty F'n stupid. If not a vote for Trump, then I say...

Alternate Calibers: 6mm ARC vs 6.5 Grendel vs 6.8 SPC

I have all three. On animals, hogs and coyote, they all perform very well. The Hornady 120gr SST for the 6.8 and the 123gr SST for the 6.5 are the only bullets I've put effort into and stuck with them vs. trying other bullets simply because the kill pretty effectively with proper shot...

Well after the sale of the Monarch Ranch this year for 40 Million, which means I lost A LOT of area to coyote, hog, and deer hunt, I did manage to hold onto permission to hunt 350 acres of the ranch that was not part of the sale. Fortunately, this exact spot/field is where I've seen and killed...

Two cartridges that I love that everyone else hates.

It's out there at reasonable prices as it's out of favor. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1064016219

My G31 is fun to shoot… lots of “blast” if that makes sense. Glad I started reloading for it years ago… got about 8k rounds stashed.
