      Well, now it’s come down to the HOA. Apparently, I will have to have an engineer come out and inspect to make sure a berm wouldn’t affect stormwater runoff. Always something. Never cut and dry. That will of course cost an arm and a leg.

      I just spoke with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s office, and they say I am good as long as there is a proper backstop

      The states attorney already went after the county for contradictory ordinances. Everything was repealed. The county told me I am ok as long as I am in compliance with the law. The governor signed legislation into law stating “local government can not make any laws that contradict the states laws.”
