I love it, I have the upmost confidence shooting it. Last year in NC I took a 520yard shot and it was dead on the spot and dropped him where he stood. Plus having a threaded barrel is great for when I want to use a suppressor.
I had 2 remington models 12's, one was a round barrel, the other was an octagon barrel. I regret selling both of them. After over a century they still shot straight and true before I sold them.
Get on the tracker pages on FB. A good dog will be able to track it down, or tell you if the deer is gonna live to see another day. The trackers are pretty quick at responding.
