Morning. Have you searched Google? As a Glock owner, I would recommend a good aftermarket mounting plate. Some are even made with a protective front piece. Just check them out and get what fits your budget.
That’s fine for adults with shooting experience. I have two boys. One 11, one 6. They are new shooters. That type of thing puts a negative association to shooting for kids. Not where we need to be. The Pig Farm gave them shirts, ammo and would come over and give them pointers. They loved Shane.

Taught my almost 2yo why she shouldn’t touch the shotgun. Past few days, got my 10yo a Holster for a 9mm. (To use on private property in the country). Helped an older neighbor find a holster he would be happy with. Tomorrow, I am supposed to show him the proper way to use it.
