It happened to my dad with my grandfather’s guns too. My aunt (dad’s SIL) was extremely anti-gun and immediately disposed of them upon granddad’s death even before the will was read.
My dad was fortunate to have taken custody of a few of them a few years earlier, but most of them were never...
Remember that airlines can have stricter rules than TSA, too.
My experience has been the locked case is the failure point most of the time. If the case can be opened at all while locked it will most likely be rejected. Some cases aren’t super sturdy and the plastic can be flexed enough for...
The psychology of war certainly isn’t my area of expertise, but it seems we had more successful outcomes when we weren’t trying to make friends with the civilian population of the nations we were at war with.
Maybe someone with expertise can post about it.
I don’t have anything to add that Bowhntr didn’t cover already. It happens all the time when one family member runs off with property that isn’t covered in any paperwork.
As far as I can tell the second guy wasn’t in an ad. The footage seems to be from a protest. If it is an ad, it’s a bad one because it doesn’t seem to feature any products or services.
If folks are interested in traditional grippers like that one, I really do recommend the Capts of Crush. They build serious hand/forearm strength. I'm just a regular dude in his 50's for the most part but my hand strength is about 75% of an NFL player's based on a video I recently saw.
I have seen a lot of publicity about the benefits of grabbing rice in a bucket for hand strength.
I tried to link a video from YT, but I couldn’t figure out how to on my iPad, but a search for “rice bucket exercise” should take you where you want to go.
Personally I use the captains of crush...
I read in one of the car magazines that an EV has to travel 60,000 miles before it becomes more “green” than an internal combustion engine.
There’s also the fact there isn’t enough raw materials in the earth to replace the current number of cars with EV’s, so a lot of someones are just going to...
I saw a lot of feed lip issues with first and second gen Pmags on ones that basically lived loaded for two or three years. Admittedly, those mags stayed in trunks of cars year round in Florida.
The issue was they would often double feed under rapid fire after a year or so because the lips had...
Mine are not super organized. I keep my "ready to go" magazines loaded (three handgun and four rifle) and on my belt or on my vest. Belt and vest live on shelving I built specifically for the purpose.
Whatever I'm shooting in competition will have all of those magazines in my range bag...
Anyone who really wants to "get some" needs to stay away from dignitary protection. The only people who get less action than them are Air Marshals! I've done some dignitary protection, and it is soul-crushingly boring.
