Catch dog!

Good Morning!

This weekend I'm headed up to Tennessee to pick up a dog. I was wondering if there is anyone in this group that puts dogs on hogs and wouldn't mind showing me the ropes. As of now, the pup is only about a month and a half old, but I'd like to expose him to as many other dogs as possible. I'd like to expose him to experienced bay and catch dogs. He is a pure bread Dogo Argentino. Any advise or help with this is much appreciated. Thank in advance guys !

i hunted hogs with a dogo in east texas. incredible dog. i could get the fellas name for you but huntsville is pretty far away.

Thanks guys! I plan to dedicate ALOT of time to this guy. I've done a good bit of research on this breed and I'm very excited to see its potential.

Depends. These dogs are used for a multitude of different things. Police work, protection, hunting, and show. Depending on how they are sold, bloodline, reputable breeder etc. Usually 2500 on the low end.

Hard to tell right now, but the mom is 95 lbs and dad is 115.
