Gen 3 vs Gen 4 Noveske NSR?

I have a gen 3 Noveske N4 that has a KAC rail on it, and I’m wanting to go back to an NSR, but I don’t have the old one. If I buy a gen 4 NSR, is the receiver still going to match up to the forend? I’ve been searching and can’t find a 13.5” gen 3 anywhere.

It should match up fine. The problem will be taking off the KAC rail if it is a Urx4. 3.1 etc without the proper tools.

Which rail do you have?

I have the MK12 Mod 1 rail on it right now. I’ve been trying to find a Gen 3 NSR in either 13.5 or 15” for a long time. If the Gen 4 matches the receiver, I might just pick one of those up.

The KAC Long FF RAS is relatively easy to takeoff. If you sell the KAC rail let me know. I could always use another Mod 1 in my life

Will do. It’s had krylon on it, but I can strip that off if I ever decide to get rid of it.
