Has anyone on this form has any experience with the ccu units being offered by some firearms folks. Basically it turns your glock pistol into a small rifle, looks very nice an there are a lot of addons for this change. You still have a pistol but in seconds can change to a rifle with 16in. barrel!!!!Denny in pace!!!!!

Class 3 classification is for short barreled rifles, full auto and things of that sort. If that be the case then you would need a tax stamp for it. Ask the dealer you are looking at buying from they should give you the details.

Frank is correct. I was just brushing up on NFA guidelines the other day and came across this issue. As mentioned above, as long as the barrel is 16 inches or longer and doesn't go FA, a conversion kit can be put on a pistol.

However, If I remember correctly, once you convert a pistol to a rifle (carbine) it is unlawful to convert back to pistol. But then again, who's to know? Correct me if I'm wrong fellas.

Personally, its cooler and more customizable than most carbines in its price range. But then again, how much more is an AR layout in pistol caliber?

That is not correct, take your Glock out of a carbine kit and use it as a pistol any time, back and forth no issue.
