This is an original NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT manufactured FIRST MODEL, High Standard Sport King 6.5" .22lr target pistol, with the DESIRED slide hold-open and thumb release. Circa 1950 to 1954.
The barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling, not a hint of frosting. The bluing is about 98%.
The original Gutta Percha checkered grips are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
The action functions perfectly, and the slide is tight and solid, has an easy pull that anyone will be able to operate.
Comes with one straight, undamaged magazine.
