I recently bought a Rossi .38 special snub nose revolver and I'm trying to figure out exactly what model it is, I know it's a pre Taurus Rosie since it says inter arms on the side. It says M68 inside when I open the cylinder, but I've read around that those markings don't always mean it's a model 68. Any help would be appreciated

Not sure on that one, but remove the hand grips, and see if there are any markings/serial/model #'s stamped in it to help further identify it.

Yes, it's a model 68. The 68 was blued and the 88 was stainless. I've owned several of them.
Back in the 80s when every Thursday, Mike's , Bigg's and The Pistol Parlor all had sale ads in the paper, those were on sale a lot for $115.
    It's no S&W 36 but it's a good gun for the money.
