Navy Yard Shooting in DC

One shooter dead and looking for two more suspects with multiple fatalities. One white male with a handgun and one black male with a long gun both in military type fatigues.
They are reporting active shooter teams deployed within 7 minutes. Hooray that's still 7 minutes to late for the poor people confronted with these nuts on the military base or otherwise known as free fire zone. Evidently someone forgot to tell these murderers it's against the law to carry firearms on base.

This is only 1/2 mile from capitol hill and I'm afraid this one will be the straw that breaks the camel's back for passing gun control through congress. They will want to appear they are doing something. Just when things were settling down and here comes another panic. I just can't understand how we don't trust our uniformed military personnel of all people to carry sidearms. They are more vulnerable at the office than on the battlefield. It's inexcusable.

I'm suprized he didn't open up by saying it was Bush's fault first , then blame those pesky rights of ours that he wants to get rid of. It's obvious these guns are the real criminals not the freaks shooting them.

AP reporting that the identified murderer is a concealed weapons permit holder. That's just great. The anti-gunner's will jump all over that even though it's a statistical anomaly if true.

Funny. I was in the kitchen at work as the news was on and was asking a coworker "What has Osama done now". He was like "Huh?". I said, "You see, every time Osama messes up, he goes out and hires this done to take the pressure off of him and then turns it to gun control issue".

Your post made me remember the Colorado recalls... Tit for Tat is exactly right.

My thoughts and prayers for the families of those that were murdered and the 3 wounded. If there is a 2nd suspect - my only wish is for a quick end once we find out the why. The ammunition shortage was the combined result of new gun owners and hording not the govt. Concerns for our 2nd amendment rights are legit but let's remember the loss of of loved ones and their grief.

Prayers go out to those killed and injured. Just when I was considering buying a shot gun and lower priced AR for the 3 Gun comp. Its 25 miles to Wallmart and you can bet the 4 AR's and 4 shot guns are already gone.
