Pensacola Gun Show 8/24-25

The Pensacola Gun Show is this weekend. I am going to venture over there in the morning to see if I can sell my Mk12 Mod 0 clone, Beretta 96D Police Special, Trijicon SRO, and some LaRue Tactical hats I have had for years. It would be nice to walk away with some real cash in my pocket this time. Not having a lot of luck on the forum.

I do not want to deal with the shipping hassle with firearms. It is a real pain these days not to mention the expense. As for the SRO, I will hang on to it until it sells locally. If it does not sell in the next few months, I can always buy something (like a Glock 40 MOS) that it can be used on.

I have pretty much sworn off that show but I do have a couple of guns to sell and not much luck here.
I may go walk around an hour or so.

I did find a deal on some metal reinforced plastic AK mags I'm going to try out.

I will be coming to that show to see who has what. I went earlier this year and no one had anything of which I was interested. I do not have enough to sell to make it worth getting a table. A couple of years ago, I did get a couple tables when I had a lot to get rid of.

How do you get banned for life?

you set up at any other show by any other promoter
you buy donuts set up at his show for 15 years somebody makes false statement about you or your table mate and are not even asked about it
you sell items similar that are cheaper than promoters
you are a friend of someone that they dont like
all of the above and more

I set up at that show for over 15 years after the show one guy started acting out he made some threatening comments to me and another friend of mine we reported the problem and left
evidently the guy that started it and made some serious comments which I over heard concerning the heath and life of my friend made some false claims and accusations forgetting that he started it and that he had made threats
I got an email that I was no longer welcome at those shows I contacted the owner to find out what was going on and got some stupid and untruthful claims and static
now after 15 years of being a good participant and paying my fees bring donuts and well liked by all im banned
funny thing the guy that started it got banned a year later
so I worked really hard to find another promoter that would come to the panhandle and put a show on
the other promoter might have had some loyalty and appreciation but did not did not bother to check the facts
I guess he got upset when he got some competition because he made the statement both written and otherwise that anyone setting up at any other show would be banned for life from his shows
several off his vendors have told and shown me the emails about this its well known
I only write this because several have asked what happened to the best of my knowledge and opinion that's the story as I know it if Im incorrect in any of this just let me know
