Question about a trade I'm making

So, didn't know where to post this but this seemed like as good a place as any. I have a trade deal set up with this guy, going to trade my S&W 915 9mm and 60 rounds of Winchester 9mm FMJ ammo along with $250 for his S&W Model 586 (no dash) .357 Magnum. I'll put pictures of both up, but I'm just wondering how good a deal this is, should I jump on it? I love the look of the 586 though I've never seen one in person before, and I've been searching for a nice .357 Magnum for a while now. What do you guys think? Depending on how much you paid for the 915 is the question,
But if it were me, I'd probably do it. I'd try to talk him down a little bit first.

Of course, barrel length on the 586 is a consideration. And I would consider the blued finish less desirable than stainless. But if there's anything I like better than a 3rd generation smith 9mm, it's a classic smith revolver.
