I've noticed a lot of "rare", collectible, special edition guns for sale lately. I'm just puzzled what makes a gun so rare or special edition or is it just me? Some examples: rare Hi-point Tiger striped Cerakoted 9mm, Anderson AR special forces edition, Century CV 39 AK-47 Kyber Pass clone, or a collectible and hard to find Taurus G2C

I also see alot of guns posted here more expensive than what you can get them for brand new, even after shipping/transfer.

And ammo, a lot of the ammo posted is more than what I would have it deliver to my door for.
There's been whole threads about ammo prices. I'm a bit baffled as well, but as they say "If you don't want to buy it, scroll on by and don't crap on other people's for sale posts."

Also...the guns they tell that are "hard to find" like it's 1990 and the Internet doesn't exist.

Gun Show, online. Alot of times the seller got zapped and is trying to recoup. It happens. That's why I'll do lots of reading before buying. Sometimes it bites me in the butt cause I'm too slow. Got lucky on a few. Like my full CF bushmaster carbine. Of course lost that one to my bride after she shot it. Lol.
