It looks like an older 700, maybe early 90's model. I have one in 270 and the bolt on these older ones are "almost" as smooth as my Steyr's.....

That is a beautiful rifle...don't have a spare grand laying around but a mountain rifle 25-06 through 308...7-08 would be great...is on the list of future buys.
