    wife thought it looks like the garter snake ..thanks
    many color patterns, and they are fast... orange rat snakes tend to bow up at you if cornered... and they have splotches, not stripes..

    now she is saying it looks like a corn snake ....i give up
    rat snakes, corn snakes, chicken snakes, all basically the same patterns, just color and size differences..
