Not a Garand expert but I’ll detail what I know.

-Springfield Armory M1 Garand purchased through the CMP in 2008
-still packed with some form of preservative grease
-I believe it was built in the mid 1950’s based on serial number.

Comes with the letter of authenticity from the CMP and I have some enbloc clips in a can somewhere, I’ll throw a handful in.

Not looking for trades right now. Thanks!

Not too familiar with Garands, had to google it. I don’t have those measurements but if anyone has a tool to measure erosion I’d love to borrow it to check.

If it came from the CMP it probably came with a blue , white or yellow hang tag etc that annotated both the ME/TE measurements…even back in 2008 they done this

I’ll dig around and see what I can find. I inherited this, and I definitely don’t have the case but I may have some other paperwork.
