Since spot is roughly $27 an ounce and a one ounce Krugerrand is roughly $34 the value of silver is not really the bench mark, is that correct? I guess I'm asking because otherwise you would accept a one ounce silver bullion bar in lieu of a one ounce silver Krugerrand.

spot price is just a benchmark to start with, even generic bars will have a $2-3 premium, and govt recognized coins, will have anywhere from $4 to $6 added to spotprice
