Next time you have to wait in line at the airport you can blame people for "forgetting" they had a 45 on their hip. LOL Maybe its possible to forget you had one in a bag but not on your person.

I am sure some of you would like to be able to carry on a plane but wishing you could & actually trying it are two different things.

This guys sounds like he was up to something or extremely paranoid. That would give you two bullets for every person on the plane most likely.
