Does the Maverick have single or dual action bars, I'm looking for one for my 80 lb grandson who's 11. I don't want to spend a lot money on a gun he will out grow in s couple of years but I also don't want one that might jam if he twists the forearm when excited after shooting a buck trying to finish him off

They have dual bars just like the Mossberg 500.

I bought that same Maverick for my 12 year old... put an extended choke on it and he had a lot of luck duck hunting this year. No issues, great fun for the price. Once he out grows, I am going to repurpose with a pistol grip as a home defense gun.
