After thinking about it, I do think that this is a cartridge worth reviving. There still are some of these rifles out there. With new hotter loadings it would be good in an AR. The original loadings were not quite up to the .35 Remington. Load them higher pressure and you would likely equal the .35 rem at least. They were used in just one winchester rifle that was
