I haven't tried the Glock .45's yet, but I have a full sized budget Tisas 1911A1 Army and I love it. As stated earlier, is the feel and weight of an all metal gun that I like. I also have a Bersa Lesbar 84 in .32ACP that makes the a great EDC/CC. The Bersa is a good little ankle gun or in the small of your back. I even got my girlfriend a Lace thigh holster and a lace belly band for it. She is a size 4 so the lace looks really sexy on her and the gun is easily concealed even with her small frame. It's a single action semi auto with an exposed hammer and impossible to rack until it's been cocked. And if you cock the hammer, chamber a round then carefully drop the hammer holding it back with your thumb while you squeeze the trigger so you have a round chambered then when you cock it you have to be sure not to pull the hammer back any further than the second click. And your better off after it clicks twice pushing the hammer forward gently until it stops. If you pull the hammer to far back it will not fire.. You can pull the trigger all you want. Odds are that's what happened when the same model gun was used in the attempted assassination of the wife of the Prime Minister it president or who ever that was in Argentina when they used a Bersa Lesbar 84 that failed to fire. And it's only got a trigger lock so not a good gun to carry cocked and locked like I do my 1911. I also have a Glock 19 that I love. It has 1-50 round drum, 2-33 round extended capacity mags, 4-19 round mags, 2-17 round mags and 2-15 round mags. So clearly I like shooting my Glock. But when it comes to .45acp I just prefer my 1911. Even if it was only $339 and included a case and 2-7 round magazines $415 after shipping and the background check. When you consider the weight of a fully loaded Glock with a double stacked magazine and the weight of an all metal 1911 fully loaded the weight isn't that much different. So it doesn't figure into the ability to carry one or the other for any length of time. As a matter of fact as long as it's an OWB holster unless I'm sitting down I don't really notice it. At least not for the weight. I notice my keys bouncing off my leg with every step more than my pistol on my hip.
