Without question, in my opinion, the finest 1911 on the market.Glad to see there are some Les Baer fans here.
Certainly, the best 1911at its price point. Some folks like Les, others don't. But there is only so much that can be done to the 1911 from a mechanical standpoint. Baer seems to have cornered that market, IMHO.Without question, in my opinion, the finest 1911 on the market.
Some 'purists' also look down their noses at 1911s in 9mm, .38 Super, 10mm...some look down their noses at 1911s with 80 Series parts, adjustable sights, front cocking serrations, rails, etc. There is something for everyone to like and dislike.S&W are definitely overlooked in the 1911 space because "purist" look down their nose at the external extractor.
I’m DEFINITELY one of those “purists”. To each his own. Some 'purists' also look down their noses at 1911s in 9mm, .38 Super, 10mm...some look down their noses at 1911s with 80 Series parts, adjustable sights, front cocking serrations, rails, etc. There is something for everyone to like and dislike.
And some really hate scales...
