Learn something new every day, thanks for the info :D.

So a weapon, without a buttstock, with a VFG, that is over 26" in length is not a Rifle, Pistol, or AOW, it is just a "firearm". I am now completely convinced that they just make this shit up as they go.

Yes, You may add a VFG if and only if OAL exceeds 26"

Yes, but in the first letter the ATF says than neither firearm is classified as a handgun or pistol by the ATF.

Right, it becomes a firearm without specific classification for which no special licensing is needed.

Frank, it's as always, build at your own risk. Lol.

I say it's best just to lean to the cautious side about all of this. Lol

All of these laws are open to their interpretation. I once read that these letters should be use as information only.

True Carb, push the rules and you will find yourself on the wrong side and they also change on a whim.

EVIL Looking things, you would have to get a separate safe so they don't influence the other rifles and go on a killing spree.
and YES they are Stupid Loud, a real deaf mans dream to be next to one of these at the range!

Any good websites for parts? And a complete list?

TGD will have almost everything. I used a Spike's lower and CMMG lpk from him for my last build. He also has the tools. Everything worked great!

Let me rephrase. If you install a stock onto it, you will need a stamp. My pws tube is 7 inches. No need for it to fold. Lol

I haven't thought of adding it to one of my brace setups. Interesting idea. Though my sig 556 rifle has a folding Ddles/ctr setup and it never gets folded. Lol

That folding contraption is VERY clever.

I'll be really impressed when someone makes a tubeless 300 blk pistol though.

PSA will have some good deals on lowers and LPKs, I watch slick guns.com a lot and was able to score my spikes stripped lower for $70. My whole build ended up costing me about $600.
