So many copies, both direct copies and just close...
Might be the best idea...drive up Original prices,
let it rest for a decade, then start bringing it back,
like Winchester has done...
IMO . . . . overpriced, always were. Simply a "just gotta own one of these" guns. Perhaps in a different chambering . . but then . . . the mystique would be gone.
Not for me,never were,never will. --- SAWMAN
I liked mine, but it was a commercial variant. I keep meaning to snag one of the guns AIM Surplus are bringing in, lots of Israeli and other BHPs with some history to them. One of these days.
SAWMAN, dunno if you knew / would be interested in the caliber, but they made some in .40.
I got a '91 from a Money Mizer in PC a couple years ago for $500 in new, never shot condition and it's the best shooting gun I own. My skills are pretty good, but I don't have skills to shoot it to it's full potential. It was a just gotta have gun and I'd pick up another if I found one for the right price.
There are a lot of HP's out there, so the don't think the market will spike fast if they are truly stopping production.
