Finished this one today. Frankengun build and very pleased with how light it is.

Somewhat similar to the 18" build I recently did.

This one weighs in at 9 lbs. 5.3 oz. w/ scope/mount and empty 30-rd. magazine and 7 lbs. 11 oz. w/o the scope/mount.

Couple of nice looking rifles! Well done indeed. How do you like that style stock? Minimalist if I remember right? Not too flimsy?

Not at all, actually fits better than the magpul moe stock.

I agree. My minimalist stock fits great and is very solid. I added a paracord braid from the front of the stock to the bottom, just to prevent snagging during a match, but it's probably unnecessary.

I am in accord with the others on the Minimalist stock. It is light and comfortable and the fit is spot on.

Excellent! Thanks much for the info on the stocks, was a little skeptical. Don't have a planned build or existing evil black gun to put one on at the moment, but definitely a top option for a stock! Cheers!

I don't like the minimalist, unless it has Jeep's solution. JMO.

I will probably getting one here pretty soon as well. I've heard good things about them.
Is there a reason you have you rear flip up sight mounted so far forward? Never seen it mounted like that.
    Its a nice looking rifle.

So I can get my fatass fingers in there to charge the rifle. I hate magpul mbus, they're so wide, I move it a bit forward

The current state of my multi-gun rifle. Still waiting on a new barrel and I think I'll be done for quite a while.
