Southbound, that's a SWEET rifle. I too just put an optic one mine, but it has eaten anything from steel to surplus to match that I've put through it. If I could only have one long gun, this would be it.

Question, did you find an easy way to move the front sight? I did it with a nail, and it worked ok, but I want to re-zero and wonder if there's an easier way.

Haven't tried. Just got it yesterday. Since I put a quick release on it, I planned on keeping the flip up sights on it anyway just in case.

Edit. After reading your reply, you may be asking about moving it as in, back on the rail or something? Haven't tried.

Glad to hear you are enjoying yours.

Right, you might want to practice moving that post at home, maybe you have something laying around in your tools that you can use. The standard tool doesn't work, and a bullet tip won't fit. I think a smallish Allen key might be good, I'll try later this afternoon.
I seriously can't think of a more versatile all around rifle. 25 round window pmags should be coming out sometime this year. Sig has great customer service too. I'm not a fan of their 1911s, but their rifles are very, very good. Let me know how that break works for you.

A small Allen key and needle nose pliers work ok for one click at a time. I decided to build my own tool with a 357 case and a file. Works great!

Hey Dan1612, that JP Compensator is BAD ASS! I put it on and went to the range this morning and the 308 has less recoil than my 223. It's amazing! I want to get one for the 223 now...

    It looks great!
That muzzle looks very serious. I'll definitely look into it. How much louder did it make it? 16" barrel with a compensator, I'll bet it gets loud.

I've never tried the Geissele, but I did put a Wilson combat trigger on my R-25 and it's amazing! It feels like my 1911s. Those guys know their triggers. I'd be interested in comparing it to the Geissele though.

Honestly, it wasn't that bad but I did have ear muffs on and was by myself. It didn't seem any louder than my Browning A-Bolt 308 hunting rifle though.

I haven't got the trigger yet and purchased an Atlas Bipod this week so it may be a few more weeks before I can pick one up. I was looking at the RRA 2 stage with JP springs too which would be about 1/2 the cost. The problem I have is if I get something I like, I wanna put it on all my rifles :)

I'm sure it wasn't as bad as the PLR. Those things are fun!
RRA is a great way to go, I had one in a 458 Socom. Very very good.

Sweet rifles.I am wondering what is that on the handrail just forward of the lower in the last pic?

looks like an Ace Tactical rail mounted bottle opener. I have one on my AR pistol, more of a fun piece, but actually helps serve as a handstop also.

it does have a quick disconnect sling mount built into it for some functionality
