Has anyone else been following this insanity? DOES Martial Law need to be considered?

(CNN) - Gun violence flared again in Chicago when a shooter sprayed bullets outside a convenience store on the city's west side, killing a 13-year-old boy and wounding six others.

Last weekend, 47 people were shot in Chicago, including an 11-year-old girl killed by a stray bullet while sitting on a friend's bedroom floor, Chicago police said. Over Independence Day weekend, nine people were killed and 60 wounded, police said.

Thank God for the super strict gun laws in Illinois, Cook County, and in Chicago. Can you imagine how many people would have been killed and shot in that same time frame if criminals didn't have all those strict firearms laws hanging over there heads? The whole city might have been wiped out, if not for the wisdom of the politicians, and the carefully crafted gun control laws that keep the citizens of Chicago safe every day!

Look up "Windy City". The politicians have been corrupt and the city has been ruled by criminals for longer than any of.us have been alive. I lived outside of Chicago briefly. You have to know what parts of the city to stay away from when you go downtown.
