If Congress is as stupid as these idiots on the Colorado House Judiciary Committee, we're in trouble for sure. They just spent 15 minutes trying to figure out what the difference in a 'tubular feeding device strictly for use with .22 Rimfire ammunition' and a 'magazine' was. Before that some thought 30 rounds was too much, and some though 10 was not enough. So guess what? Now they have changed it to 15 rounds just to keep the whole panel happy. They also changed shotgun capacity from 5 to 8 shells.
Earlier today, the same committee passed a bill requiring background checks for private gun sales and transfers.
These people are making laws about things they know nothing about. It’s like hiring a mechanic that doesn’t know the difference between a nut and a bolt or what a wrench is for. They completely ignored the 6 hours of testimony against it, and passed it 7 – 4. Unbelievable!
So now I guess Magpul will be retooling for 15 round mags, or leaving the state.
