Those PSA guns are a good place to stsrt IMO. This is most likely why most of us have such a large parts bin.
"Info in <--> Info out" What will this "build be used for ?? At what distance(s) ?? What twist bbl ??
Over the last couple of years I have stocked up on some lowers, both complete and stripped, and other parts to do three different builds. One will most likely be a 300BLK and the other will be a "big bore".
If I have any parts you can use,let me know. ---- SAWMAN

Practically any free float handguard, Midwest industries gets good reviews. PSA Red-dot or a FFP 1-4x scope...

if you are considering scoping it i would look hard at the newer 1-4-1-8 options with true 1X. That way it can possibly be used similar to a red dot at closer ranges with both eyes open amd still give you good magnification at your longer range you mention

Maxfold, are you wanting to assemble your own rifle or buy "ready to shoot"?

Looks like you already did the #1 thing IMHO. Replace the stock trigger. I prefer Geissele myself, but anything is better than the stock trigger.

Can you post a pic of your upper? That would help as far as info on replacing handguard. Free-float handguards are generally described by length in inches

This is the hand guard I put on my PSA 16". Its a UTG PRO M-LOK® AR15 13" Super Slim Free Float Hand guard. I put rubber plugs in the unused m-lok slots and wrapped it in grip tape.

No, it's an ex-Bundeswehr anti-aircraft tripod for the MG3. I put a picatinny adapter on it, so I can use it with any gun with a picatinny rail.

LOL, I don't carry it around, I just use it in my sunroom or out in my yard (I live way out in the woods, no neighbors ), or in my home office to static display my gun of the week. It was relatively cheap, I think I only paid like 150 bucks for it a couple of years ago. The supply is drying up though, I think there more than that now if you can find one.

    I have a S&W M&P AR15. It has a 1:8 twist 5.56 barrel @ 16'. It shoots 2 inch groups using 5.56 green tip ammo. I would like to get a .223 / 5.56 wylde barrel, 1:7 or 1:8, XX length!?

I'm old and love to just bench rest shoot for markmanship / accuracy.

Sawman....do you have a barrel like that available or where can I get one. I'm interested in all opinions out there!
