I am debating which on to get... I really like the 1911 platform but I am torn due to the fact that military Glocks at Jimmy's are so cheap and they come with 3 mags... Need some advice. Thanks

Can't vouch for the RIA but everyone including me will tell you cant go wrong with a glock. My G22 is prob my favorite gun. No malfunctions and a great shooter.

Yeah I have owned and own Glocks.... I have owned one RIA and that was a great shooter for the price... I think I will just go with the Glock though. If this ban does go through a 9 round 1911 won't be what they are after (hopefully) Thanks for you feedback

Does Jimmy's have them in stock? Everyone seems to be on back order.

I thought it was a law that everyone needed to own at least one G17?

Damn, I'm on back order with a place online. I might need to take a trip to Jimmy's this weekend and cancel my other order.

When I picked up my LEO G19 from Jimmys the other day they said it was the first one they had seen in a few weeks and they had no idea when they were going to get another one.

G17 is a great gun, but the G19 is he perfect size gun for the 9mm IMHO, and small enough for a largish person to conceal easily in a god rig.

I absolutely love my Glock 19!! Went back and forth between the Gen 3 and 4 and got the 4. Don't regret it at all!

I've had some bounce off of the bill of my hat a couple times.. But not enough for it to really bother me or anyone else shooting it.

I've never fired a 1911 in anything other than 45ACP, and the only caliber I'd consider buying one in other than 45ACP is 10mm. I like the G17, but the grip is just a bit small around for me to fit perfect in my hand. Either way, I still like my two...one in FDE and one in OD.
