Tried sneaking up on this coon. Wanted to doe to cleat the plot. So I stomped. Doe blew and coon flew. Dang it.

3 bearded boys walking by one of my cams. Most turkeys at one time I’ve see all year. @lettheairout about a 1/2 mile west of the spot I told you about

Saw this in a parking spot near a spot I hunt. Can’t stand when people waste deer. The back legs were nearby ripped off and eaten. They took no meat and I could not see any reason not to. Also, the picture does not do it justice. This was a 160+lbs buck

Bunch of hogs and coyotes. Today’s closing day where I hunt in GA. Will be interested to see what shows up the next couple weeks. Always good to see what made it through. Bucks are already starting to form their bachelor groups. Had a pic few days ago 5 bucks in 1 pic. This will be next years crop.

Oh wow, you got a good while left. We started general gun late October. Muzzle loader a week before. Archery even before that but couldn’t tell you as I haven’t bow hunted in years. It all ends today. For me it ended last week as I wasn’t able to get away this week. We were very blessed this year. A 10-12 point depending on how you count it for me, a nice 8 for the wife, and I took 3 mature does. Freezer is stocked and everyone is safe. Good year.

Dang nightime bucks!!

Lots of pork around lately. With deer season over I’m starting to inventory bucks that made it through. So far 6 bucks ID’d last couple days. Few spikes, couple 4’s a 6 and small 8. I know a couple of the trophy bucks we had on camera during the November rut are probably still walking- neighbors didn’t get em, so hopefully they’ll show themselves before they drop their horns.
