Walmart in pace had a lot of 556. 20 rd boxes $10.47, some off brand. Also a little 45 acp couple of brands. At 2 pm today
They still have the 223, about 40 boxes of it.. It is Independence brand, owned by Federal Ammunition. They are brass cased with discoloration on the top 1/4th of the casing. I bought 3 boxes, all looked the same way.

Correct, that is annealing. From what I understand it is a NATO standard on at least 5.56 but I could be completely wrong.
