Looking to get a glock 26 and would like feedback on generation 3 or 4.
I have heard of some problems with the 4th gens earlier, but not much lately.
Also, are my g17 & g19 older mags compatible with gen 4?
    Thanks.

Ive never had a problem with my G26 Gen 4. In fact I love it. I also have a G17 Gen 3, and a G19 Gen 4. THey are equal in accuracy and reliability.
And yes the mags are interchangeable.

My Gen. 4 has never failed me, but will throw brass back in your face, top of your head. Learned not to wear a tank top shirt also when shooting. There is supposed to be a fix for this though. Just shoot my Sig's mostly now.

I have 2 Glock 26. Both are Gen 3 models.
    Very good shooting weapons.

-if your looking to buy, I'd sell one to fund an xds purchase.

I have a G26 gen 3 with approx 2500 rounds through it. Never had any issues at all. Some of the Glock match shooters I know are upwards of 15000 rounds through various models and still running just fine.

Yes there was an issue early, it was corrected, they are good to go now and I love mine.
