Hard decision to make, but I’m considering parting with my old Colt 1911. This is the Competition Series Government Model in stainless with the classic blue grips. This has the full 5” barrel, excellent trigger, and 4 stainless steel magazines.

The gun shows some wear, as you can see ok the slide. It would probably buff out really nicely, but I’ve never put the energy into working it. Functionally this thing sings. Points naturally, fiber optic front sight is super fast to pick up, and shoots like a champ.

Will meet up in the area, need Florida ID. CCW preferred.

To be honest I’m not sure the exact year. I believe it’s in the 10-15 year old range, but I’d have to call Colt to confirm. Their website serial number lookup is mostly for the vintage stuff and doesn’t recognize most modern serial numbers.
