I was skeptical of it at first but I knew I wanted something with a little more behind it than the 300 blackout. It works but several of the deer the kids shot the bullet didn't do what I like. After 70-80 yards it seems to drop alot of its energy. Anything they shot at 100 yards and it was time for a fairly long tracking. So I settled on the 350 legend, it's been a great investment.

I like the x39 too. I had an 300bo. I know everybody sings the praises, I just didn't see it.

Yeah it's got a little more behind it than the 300 blackout. I would still limit your shots to probably under 130-140 yards just to be safe.

Someone in the first spot. Second spot was a bust and 3rd spot had sign but no deer showed up.

My oldest son got this 9 point this morning coming to a grunt call. It was shot on our other little piece of property not our main piece. Still a decent deer, he shoot him around 10am.

Seeing more big boys now that the season is over. While fooling around on my plot after the season found a spot with 6 rubs in it just east of my plot. Figures. Have to look next year and see, ladder stand would have been good there. Wish we would have had an extra week.
