The greatest generation is shrinking fast. These gentlemen's stories have too often not been recorded or immortalized. They are a true treasure. Each of us could only hope that we would have such character in our own lives should we be called to serve our country. America has lost another great man!

Sadly, our media - and our kids focus attention on the latest Hollywood train wreck or sports star, with all their troubled lives...
