GCGF member Kduly has a thread here for a 1-6x Vortex with a Burris mount for sale. I'm predicting the low priced midgrade Vortex (with the Vortex lifetime warranty) is poised to take over what used to be Nikon's market share.

Blunderbus. My bad reb, I had it installed backwards lol. I was truly confused. I forgot I had swapped it over from another upper. When I did, I just slapped it on and never really looked at it.

So, I was gonna say either the Vortex strike eagle 1-8, (or 1-6) , or the Vortex diamondback 4-16x44 ffp would be a good choice for under $400. Except the Eagles BDC2 retical is probably for 5.56. The diamondback has the EBR-2C moa retical. I think it is good for all calibers. I'll check the manual tonight.

Yep, that is nice. May have to order a set. I really like the bdc and clarity on the nikon. Had it on 223w ar and could do 1 inch at 100.
