I placed an order with Palmetto State Armory (first time) on 1/11/13, and I haven’t heard anything since. I've heard they are notoriously slow when it comes to shipping, however they debited my account on the day I placed the order.
Is this their standard practice? Most companies don’t debit a customer’s account until the order ships, and personally I find this situation rather disturbing. I sent them an email asking for an updated order status, and immediately got an automated reply which stated:
