I agree with you and I do understand the likely motive and nuance behind the "support" comment. The outcome of the trial was a win for self defense and for regular Americans in general. I do suspect that he is being coached to an extent in these interviews with the multimillion dollar lawsuits in mind. The nitTwit link no worky for me, but I see where he said he supports "the blm movement and peacefully demonstrating". Face value: I can agree with most of that. What does "the blm movement" mean is a point of debate, but peacefully demonstrating should be on everyone's "yeah, protect that right" list.
Where "the blm movement" looses its credibility for me is when the organization BurnLootMurder advocates for violence and unequivocal thuggery.
Rittenhouse has more than earned the ability to speak his mind. Like most people I respect, I may not agree with him 100%, but I think his motives are good and I'm glad he's a free citizen.
And heck yeah, Carl, he's a hero. While helping his community, he was mob attacked and outnumbered, but not outgunned. He defeated the deadliest threats with remarkable marksmanship and constraint, survived a bullshift prosecution, and he can hopefully move forward with his life to survive the same kinds of normal experiences an 18-year-old should have.
Have you fellas also noticed that all across the news media they mention Kyle's weapon as " military style." Anything to fan the flames.First of all this is great news but what pisses me of is that I have received numerous updates that he has been found not guilty, that is all that needs to be said but everyone of these so called news outlets has added that “he killed two people in Kenosha last year” everyone of the news outlets stating this should be sued also.
I guess it all depends on how you look at it. As far as I'm concerned technically speaking, they committed suicide.Technically he did kill them. Just in self defense, it doesn’t change the fact they died from a extreme case of stupidity for attacking someone with a rifle….
And also, there's no law prohibiting him from crossing the state line.He Didn’t come from out of state with rifle , his father lived there , rifle was there , never crossed state lines with it and was of legal age to possess rifle
Why should he join the military? So someone like our current president might leave him stranded in some forsake s**t hole like Afghanistan? I don't think so. I say this from the perspective of a service connected, Vietnam Era disabled Vet.I feel remorse for all the times that I requested permission to pull the trigger and wasn't allowed to. It's called Discipline. A Soldier needs to learn to take orders before he can give orders! Think Kyle even has a chance to join any of OUR Armed Services Now?
Because he would do the job and probably survive it. I can't tell you how many cowards I saw in the Marines on active duty who after 9/11 smoked pot, said they were gay, hurt themselves or got pregnant just to get out of the service, to not kill the enemy and not do what needed to be done. At least 4 just in my platoon. Why should he join the military? So someone like our current president might leave him stranded in some forsake s**t hole like Afghanistan? I don't think so. I say this from the perspective of a service connected, Vietnam Era disabled Vet.
Jeans-maker Levi's has offered woke counselling from a 'racial trauma specialist' to 'encourage healing' after Kyle Rittenhouse was cleared of murder.
Levi's chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer, Elizabeth Morrison, sent a letter to staff that began: 'With the news that Kyle Rittenhouse was not convicted in the shooting of three individuals – two of whom lost their lives – during racial justice protests last year, this is a difficult day for many.'
Morrison offered 24-hour mental health care for those suffering the 'pain and trauma of race, identity and belief-based tragedies.'
As far as I'm concerned the Antifa Thugs died from a successful suicide attempt. Rittenhouse needs to sharpen his skills a bit. He should have been able to take out the third attacker also.Technically he did kill them. Just in self defense, it doesn’t change the fact they died from a extreme case of stupidity for attacking someone with a rifle….
