    What a fucking douche. Large animal like that isn't made to support its weight with its ribcage. Especially ratcheted down to a trailer that will impart every single road bump in such a manner that will momentarily increase the effective weight strain. (Think increased G-forces)

    If you have cattle, you need a proper trailer.
    If the animal is lame, the vet will make a house call.
    If it is in such dire straits that it needs to be moved "right now" like this, then pick a vehicle that doesn't need to stop at the fucking gas station on the way.

    What an irresponsible shit.
