I had my share of pet peeves when I was younger - now I figure with fewer days going forward than I have already wasted I don't let the small stuff ruin the time remaining...like water off a ducks back - they all just roll off.

In general, people like to start low and some people will keep bumping the bid to see where the reserve is.

Yep, they are annoying, but I'll still bid. If my max is less than the reserve then so be it.

Or just set a buy it now price at your lowest acceptable number. If two people just have. To. Have. It. ,
Let em bid war it out.

Gunbroker is really neat, apparently you can start the bid wherever you want. That way, if it's something that normally sells for xyZ, you can set the min bid at xy, and let people outbid each other to z.

    1. Neighbors who let their house and yard go to hell.
    2. People who paint their taillights black.

People who believe in being politically correct(including my 26yo son). I mean, most anything with the word political in it has got to be wrong--right? It's Washington Redskins, Merry Christmas and radical Islamists-period. That's one of the problems with our country today. They're too afraid of who might get offended.

The flip side to that is people who have to go out of their way to be offensive. I'm not interested in being around either kind of person.

Yep, I'll listen a little while out of politeness but I'm way past being influenced by or attempting to influence someone else's opinion.

    People who wear sunglasses inside.

People who start every conversation, or worse every sentence with, "So,..."

People that pass you on an almost empty I10 and just have to get over into your lane once their rear bumper is about six inches in front of your car.

The DMV's from Louisiana and Texas, because they apparently inform their drivers that once they cross the Florida border, they are authorized to add 15-20 MPH to the posted speed limit.

People who slam on their brakes and drop from 70 to 15 MPH in about 100 feet because they see emergency vehicle lights flashing about 4-5 miles up ahead. We couldn't just move the ___ over into the left lane like the law says. Hey officer, there's a 20-car pile up back there about 4-5 miles, 'cause some ___clown saw your lights and locked 'em up.............

I'll second the emergency flashers in bad weather. We already can't see for ___, and you clowns have with one button neutralized your turns signals and added 8,000 flashing lights to the equation. Brilliant. What college did you graduate from?

Yep, I guess my pet peeve is people, and coffee don't help :thumb:

One among the myriad of peeves I seem to be amassing as I age, hearing '70s & '80s Classic Rock music used to sell products in TV commercials. Heard another one today, a KISS song in a commercial for Volkswagen. Are these bands/artists selling out for the almighty Dollar?

As a comedian once said "You know you're growing old when the music you listened to as a teenager is playing in the elevator you're riding up to your doctor's appointment".

My #1 while driving is when im cruising along at whatever speed with no cars behind me for miles and having someone pull out causing me to slam on the brakes because they don't how to wait or how to hit the gas.
Another big one is not taking you hat off for the pledge, national anthem, or prayer.

I live fairly close to Hwy 90 and while I'm used to the traffic noise, truckers with their Jake brakes and bikers with their "loud pipes save lives" can be quite peeving.

I hate people that pull up to a gas pump at a busy gas station, then go inside, buy stuff, come out and drive off without getting gas. From my experience, this is common practice in Prichard.
