Thought it was nice start to a little o.d. family. Hopefully I can finish the pistol soon to add to the family. Thank you all for the thumbs up.

Very nice indeed. Ever shot a Python?

Yep, one of my favorites. I don't currently own one, but that may change if I can ever get Statdoc to come off of his sometime. I'm generally an N frame .357 guy, but of those in the pictures I would have to say my favorite is the M58 .41 mag wearing the stag panels.

Picked up the Weaver 2.5-8 pistol scope from DrifterFisher last week and mounted it on my 5.5" Redhawk. This is the first handgun I owned, my grandma bought it for me when I was 16 after saving my asparagus picking money. A lot of people now days would have kittens if they knew a grandma was buying a kid a .44 magnum, but it was pretty common when I was growing up for adult family members to do. I paid the princely sum of $383 out the door for it and don't plan on ever getting rid of it. That was a lot of asparagus picking at 7 cents a pound to get it; 5,471 pounds to be exact.

Impressive collection sir - very impressive.

Thank you. I have about 30 more 1911s. I use to have 81 1911s at one time until I had to sell some stuff after I was out of work. That hurt to sell stuff I spent a lot of time collecting.

I had David (TGD Firearms) cerakote my 1911 Pistol. As you might imagine, I had to go with the Marine Corps theme. The job came out absolutely perfect. The pic doesn't do the pistol justice. I went with Coyotes Brown and MagPul Olive Drab. 1911 Cerakote 017.jpg
