This is what our Florida humidity will do to firearms. This one was in a dresser drawer between some clothes that are also ruined.
My sister put this 38 special up and forgot where she put it for 7 or 8 years. I’m going to try to get the grips off and soak it in oil for a week before trying to clean it up. I don’t think it will ever be safe to shoot. View attachment 62440

we underestimate the moisture in the florida air... I put a .357 under the mattress, a couple three weeks later, spots of rust on the cylinder...I was sick...

by the way, don't lean any guns on sheet rock walls either...if they are not oiled down good

I thought the humidity in the Louisiana air was bad but, there in Florida must be a whole lot worse.

If she wants to have "too much" fun,I could give you some of the older(experimental)FBI loads. (38Special +P+) --- SAWMAN

Maxman, where is the slide lock on that gun, I cannot find it

It actually doesn’t have one, since it doesn’t feed from the bottom like a heathen.

Forget her, I wouldn’t try that out of an airwieght. Sounds like instant development of a flinch.

    Dang Russ,

I didn't know you wanted one. I had two for sale not long ago might have traded one for your Model 52.
