I have been using the tumbler for about 5 years now and haven't never dried my pins. Just curious about drying the pins. I like your idea about colander with screen. Thanks for your response.SS pins / case separator.
For a little faster separation,I opened up most of the holes to just smaller that the OD og the case head on 9MM cases. The mentioned magnet works great, but a colander, with a piece of screen wire works to get the pins out of the water, after you have separated the pins from the cases. Be sure and dry the pins after use, and watch for pins inside rifle cases and in primer flash holes.
Ridgerunner, a friend is going to let me try his Dillon out to see if it work with pins. If it is what I am looking for and you haven't sold it, I will get up with you.I have one of the dillon's at my shop in Ensley if you want to look at it or buy it $40.00
