RMR CUT FOR GLOCK - -> ???

Who LOCALLY can cut a RMR into a Glock slide ?? Or might just buy a 40. Anybody selling ??

Only place I can think of is precision tactical in crestview , have read mixed reviews about them, no experience with them myself . probably better to ship to a reputable company. From what I’ve seen it’s better to have milled than buy an M.O.S

I had Foley Custom Guns do one for me about 2 years ago. They had a sale where if ya bought a vortex rmr they'd cut and cerakote the gun when done for like 50 extra or something like that. They even milled it so I could keep the rear sight. Did a great job. I was impressed. I wasn't even aware they had a sale like that till they told me. So it may pay to ask around and see if others offer the same sort of deal and save some money by buying all 3 services at once in the same shop. With that being the cut.. the dot.. and paint job. It may save you some money

Not sure of locally, but if you do ship it out, TMT tactical did a fantastic job on my glock 20. Full trigger job, cerakote, suppressor height trijicon night sights for cowitness, better serrations, front serrations and cut for an rmr. Plus, 10mm is the way to go! Great customer service as well. I highly recommend! And no, I don't have any work, personal or family affiliation with this company.

I do alot of hunting in bear (including grizzly) country. Used to carry a 44 mag all the time. But can't beat this 15+1 10mm as a sidearm. I'm more accurate and much much much quicker with the glock 20. With a trigger job and rmr it'd be hard to top it.

Whats the story with the shop in cantonment? they look like they do that sort of thing? alos I believe the Canoe creek place in Atmore has a shop if I'm not mistaken

You're best option is to mail your stripped slide off to a reputable shop. Also, be prepared for some decent wait times. First ones that come to mind are-

C&H Precision(my first option)
MAC Defense
Primary Machine

Locally maybe try Precision Tactical in Crestview, I've heard hit/miss with them. PFC in Cantonment is a no fly zone for me...

SERVO in Staplton Al. Cut and mounted a Holosun 407k on my G43x.
Dropped it off on Wed. Work was done on the next monday.
Very happy with the results

I would suggest staying away from the gun shop in cantoment. There has been a few threads on here where people wait extremely long times. I believe one guy had some parts lost because it sat around there for a while.
