    Pretty sure that is a Pre MK1 Standard model and is nickel or chrome plated. Looks like a very good finish job. If that is the entire ser# seen and no prefix I got 1961 as yr of mfg.

    That is a pretty nice finish job, and a pretty example of an early Ruger Standard.

    A bit more complex to take apart and clean, but it is indeed a great plinker. I got the 1973 long barrel version.
