All matching numbers with laminated stock, bayonet. Cyrillic markings on receiver indicated 1957 production. I bought in the box, stored in cosmoline in the mid 1990's along with several other SKS's that I later sold. Never fired this one, but I did refinish the stock as I never liked the Soviet colors on the laminate. Price is firm on this as there will not be any more imported. Not looking to trade, local pickup only so no shipping. Thanks for looking. PM me with any questions.

From 1956-58, "the letter series" of Tula SKSs were produced. They do not have a star on top of the receiver cover but have a small star after the serial number on the side of the receiver. They also have a Cyrillic letter Д, И or К following the serial number. Info on http://russiansks.weebly.com/
This rifle has the reverse N following the serial number. I'll try to post a photo tomorrow.

The numbers are still on the stock only the color is changed. As far stock refinishing you may not think it was a bad idea if you saw it in person.
